It's Count Down Time!

We are planning a 20th Anniversary Celebration/Ribbon Cutting for October 24th, and we're counting down the days to show off our new grand showroom renovation.

 

We have expanded our floor space to accommodate more appliances for your selection. I am excited to say that we will be displaying more value-priced packages in beautiful kitchen vignettes.

 

As of Sept. 25th – only 29 days to go. Hurray!!!! Do stop in for special promotionals during our celebration. Oct. 25th - 29th.

Partnership

One of our many valued Partners, Alure Home Improvements, has many kitchen designers. A contest for most sales was held for 6 months. We announced the winners today at Alure and as you can see by the faces, there were many happy recipients. We so value our partnerships. Congratulations to all!!!

Cake Wars!

A cake decorating class that wound up in a major competition...

Chef Gunter Grossmann, one of our head, world trained chefs, taught a class on cake decorating. We established teams and went to work to see who was able to make the most beautifully decorated cake. After learning the basics of cake decorating, it was decided that everyone would want to continue with a more advanced class. What a lot of fun this was! Check out the cakes! Not bad for amateurs. Who knows, perhaps one of us will be headed for the food network.

Imagine That

Wow! I received a proclamation from Doug Geed of News 12 Long Island for doing something that is second nature to me. How cool is that!

We hosted a fund raising event for Gift of Life, which is for children with congenital heart defects.   We were able to raise enough money to save the lives of 7 children. We are so proud to be a part of that. A special thank you goes to all the restaurants, manufacturer’s chefs, bakeries, wineries and donors. Appliance World is a host to many local and national charities on a regular basis. This is the part of my job that is so rewarding. Giving back is what Appliance World does wholeheartedly.

We will continue to do these events on an even grander scale now that we have expanded our showroom floor space. Watch for our Grand Re-opening, 20^th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for late October.

WHAT’S NEW?

We just had installed one of our new kitchen vignettes. DCS has just completed a new display of their latest appliances. The look is professional as well as contemporary with a great price point. The digital control knob on the wall oven can regulate the temperature by a single degree. I urge you to check it out.

I am finally back!

Shame on me for not communicating to you everything that has been going on here! Our new showroom space is almost complete and we will be able to offer our clients so much more to choose from. Our kitchen vignettes will feature appliance packages for every price point and budget.

How soothing to view our mission statement behind a waterfall. Come on down and see and also help yourself to a fresh brewed cup of coffee from our Miele built in coffee maker. I promise to be back on a regular basis.

The Help

The word the HELP has been in the media since the best seller book and movie has become so popular. All I can say is “What would I do without my HELP?” I have the most fantastic staff that knows how to set up and break down when we transform our showroom into a catering facility to raise money for various charities and organizations.

Our most recent fund raiser for the YMCA of Huntington was a huge success! How could we possibly fit 25 restaurants into our showroom and give each one a presence? Somehow, someway, we did it. Again I could not have done it without my HELP.

A great big THANK YOU goes to my incredible staff that I can always count on to do the correct thing. I love you guys!
